- Lecture 1: The Role of the Primary Care Dentist in Screening Sleep and Breathing in Children.
- Lecture 2: Can We Use Oral Appliances on Children?
- Lecture 3: Children and Temporomandibular Joints: What do Dentists Need to Know?
- Q&A: ASAP Pathway’s membership benefits, resources and tools.
Educational Objectives:
Upon course completion, participants will gain the following:
- An introduction to the dental pediatric airway and sleep field.
- Insight into how dental anatomy can play a role in a child’s development in sleep and behavior.
- An understanding of the dentist’s role in screening patients to identify risk factors that may lead to airway issues.
- Comprehension on how oral appliance therapy is used on children and how to evaluate when oral appliance therapy is recommended.
- Knowledge of the role TMJ plays in the growth of the child’s craniofacial structure and recognition on how this can affect the development of airway issues.

Course withdrawal written notice 30-59 days: 50% of the course registration could be transferred to a future live course designated by the attendee.
Course withdrawal 29 days or less: Unfortunately, due to expenses incurred when planning for the course, no credits could be given for course withdrawal within 30 days of the first day of the course.
